Cathodic Protection Engineer
Elzly Technology Corporation (Elzly) is seeking a full time Engineer/Data Analyst to assist in tracking ship cathodic protection data, reporting compliance / non-compliance with existing standards, and working with Navy to report to the fleet. The successful candidate will work with other technical staff in support of NSWC-Philadelphia, so experience with NSWC-Philadelphia, U.S. Navy fleet, ship maintenance practices, and/or cathodic protection are a plus. Work site is the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
Elzly is a growing consulting-engineering firm that provides technical and subject matter expertise for the prevention and control of corrosion. Our services include assisting our clients with field investigations of corrosion, research and testing of materials, developing training materials, and development of specifications. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing to pursue (or have) a Government security clearance
- Entry-level to nominally two years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering (or high school diploma/GED equivalent with 10 year of relevant work experience or Military experience) – required
- Functional in the use of Office products, especially MS Excel and MS Access
