Are you convinced KTA is where you belong? This full-time position is open to all outstanding candidates who:

  • Are up to the challenge of generating reports quickly and accurately;
  • Have worked in an administrative assistant role for at least 1 year;
  • Are a Microsoft Office superstar (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint – Office 365 is a plus!);
  • Have top-notch proofreading and editing skills;
  • Can take charge to review and ensure timely/accurate time and expense sheet submittals on a weekly basis;  
  • Thrive working in a team environment with energetic and passionate employees.

Applicants must have reliable transportation. Superb written and oral communication skills, the ability to prioritize, multitask, remain flexible, work within a deadline, and stay organized is essential. High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Physical requirements include close vision, ability to adjust focus, sitting for long periods of time, hearing and oral communication in English, and ability to lift 25 pounds.

Security clearance is a requirement, please note that drug testing and criminal background check will be conducted.

This position will be located in the Newport News area in a construction setting. KTA is a casual, friendly workplace.
